Easter

It's Easter again, and we cannot forget
Our brothers and sisters and all that was said.
So practice your pipes, stand proud in the wet.
For the eyes of the world are upon you.

Smoke and Strong Whiskey, Wally Page

A blessed Easter, and a happy birthday to Ireland, 91 years young. Have you not been to Mass yet? Go on with you now, and say your prayers.

And a Happy Easter to you, too!

When I was in grade school, I had a good friend named Peggy, but I called her Peg Leg, although I can't remember why. She was Catholic and I was Episcopalian. I wanted so badly to convert so we could go to church together. Decades later and I'm still seriously thinking of converting.

I haven't seen my good friend since 1964. Seeing the name Peg Leg on your blog reminded me of her and the fun we had.

I'd be guaranteed entry into heaven if I could take credit for saving a soul. Save me a long, long spell in purgatory.
