Looking For An Agent?

You've written so many variations on your query letter that you can't be sure anymore that English is your native tongue. The partial manuscript you sent has been ignored, they ask for a full and reject your novel in a couple of weeks with no comments offered.

It's time to bring in the big guns. Here is a link to a website that will be the answer to your prayers:

The St. Jude Novena Site

And I'll be keeping you in my prayers.

Thank you. I will pray for you too. Not to St. Jude, I am sorry. Been there, done that. Also to St. Anthony and St. John Bosco. I will pray to the Universe now. :)
Agent hunting has become a seriously confusing business. I mean when many of them have taken up all the rights and privileges of the writer! The privilege of being cranky, moody, temperamental, stubborn, crazy . . . what is a writer to do? That too an aspiring one? Be an agent? Don't know how long one should keep at this. Not even sure that waht I have written is a novel.
waiting for Astle's reply.

Of course you're working on your next novel, just to kill the time.

Remember, there is no pain that can't be eased with the devil's holy water and the rosary beads.

yes, I am working on my second novel -- for what?
This persistent doubt is my bane and my blessing -- am I any good as a writer? Am I even a writer unless I get published? Lack of confidence in myself, you may say. And you may be right. But isn't this longing to be read by many, shameless? And I confess to that sin of shamelessness.
About the Reagan story -- yes, one wonders what political intrigue goes behind everything. On the other hand, it is very simple too. Went too far. But don't many others do the same? Albeit in other areas?
